Like I have said I am pleased that you have almost become a big club. Saints Leeds Wigan in any order will always be the cream just ask the Bulls.'"
I don't think he was the best player on the pitch either.

| Loz I'm not having a dig here but take a look on Redvee in relation to Lomax. Whilst we both know people type without thinking, others on there don't have the same opinion as you. Lomax is a quality player but I don't feel he was your best player tonight.

I think the Sky MOM disproves your biased opinion. He was that good he gifted us 2 tries through his errors.

Hohaia spent most of the game glareing at Silverpud with a wide-eyed cereal killer look, whilst throwing his arms about in the air. If he just concentrated on playing rugby he'd be a lot better than he is.

I agree. I actually thought he was one of the worst players in the first half. He can into the game in the second half but he wasn't great to be honest. His positional play was shocking.

| One I think the majority on red vee are armchair warriors, and two Lomax like Tomkins gives the game the X factor he did not gift you two tries the structure did. That is like saying the Warrington full back when Saints beat Wire eighty nil gifted Saints X tries it was the structure that let in the majority of those tries like in all games.

The structure isn't to blame for lomax Being out of position.
If lomax was the best player on the field tonight, then we both have some bad players tonight.

| Lomax will makes mistakes positionally, he isn't experienced in the position.
But his positives in the position outweigh the negatives.

Agreed and one of the reasons I've not brought it up in the past as it will come with experience.

Me either. Lomax kicks on play 3/4 straight to Joel Monaghan as well and that was the game right there done.
You can't possibly start the game 22-0 down and expect to win. The fact we got close was good and showed character but Warrington parked the bus by slowing the ruck and kicking dead for a 20m tap. They were there for the taking in the second half and we had nobody to get us over the line.

| Saints MoM for me... in defence Soliola was a beast, probably the fittest and had the quickest line speed of the lot of you. In attack Manu, dangerous every time he had the ball. But I think Sia was your best player tonight.
For us I don't think Ratchford deserved it, I thought Higham was the man that kept us on the front foot, we slowed down during Monaghans spell.

Might be an unpopular view but for me Higham is front runner for MoS at the moment.

| Lomax for MOM???????
He ran forwards valiantly at times, but some of his stints in defense and desicion making were not up to it tonight.
He can be class without being MOM each week.
Manu caused problems for them, Turner too, but Briers brain and Mickey Higham were great for them. Can see why Ratchford got some credit too. When ever we where short on numbers or there was a gap in our line he was quick to direct the play to it.
eg we had them pinned and ratchford picks out a huge gap for the forward to run through.
Makinson makes a defensive cover tackle and ratchford directs the play to makinsons side, etc etc.

| Quote: St pete "We should have took the two points with aprox 10 mins to go with the pen under the posts. That would have made it 18-23 with a converted try winning the game. It would have also put massive pressure on the wolves. I agree with Howarth. We shouldn't have brought him back on. Lance was playing well at 9. He was causing them problems with the ball and also putting in a shift in defence. I thought we really had them, we was smashing them in defence, making breaks, the crowd was buzzing and brown took lance and Lms off and we went flat.'"
I agree with you on this point 100% could not understand the reason why this was not done; I still think Saints could have won with the right play at that time. The whole balance of the match would have shifted.

| Still unsure on Lomax, one minute he dazzles me, the next minute he makes me shake my head. Still learning the postion though. I thought Jordan Turner was your best player.
