Gareth Hock can't pass
Gareth Hock can't run
Gareth Hock can't fight

| It's an unconventional style, a bit like Otm Shanks' in Cast Away, but he caught some...
Don't feed him and he'll go away!

| Maybe there would have been 8000 away fans, but the weather will put some of them off....
We will see how many turn out at Old Trafford, if its anything like our visits to Wembley Warrington usually manage to magic up 30000 from somewhere.

| Its looking good, saturday afternoon dry and sunny decent temperatures, most of our Saturday games have been decent performances.
Team had a week off, chomping at the bit, should start at 100 mph, wire playing less than 100% fit, Soliola under orders to flat pack Briers.
Reckon Johnny and Lance to create havoc taking on the line, looking forward to it.
I hope the wire fans bring there grand final tickets with them, we can barter at knock down prices.

| I have not lived in the town now for a long time now i cannot remember Peasley X Lane getting flooded. If so did it affect the UGB/Rockware factory or did it not get flooded in them days, probaly more rain these days.Cannot blame the railway line as it been there for long enough. What about Sankey Brook. On the BBC 6pm news it says the river Sankey but as far as i know its always been the Sankey Brook or the St.Helens canal i could be wrong tho. There is a section of the canal near to the stadium where we saw people fishing once & parked cars not all where fishing.Tho i cannot see that section of the canal flooding.

Its blackbrook that was shown flooded on the one show.
Probably the bbc being PC and avoiding using the word Black in case its associated with negative connotations

Sankey Brook is the River Sankey. Its source is in St Helens (somewhere around Carr Mill Dam I think) and it ends up in the Mersey travelling via Widnes and Warrington. The Sankey Canal (also called St Helens Canal) was constructed alongside Sankey Brook and follows the same route. Black Brook is a tributary of the Sankey Brook. It was Black Brook that burst its banks in Blackbrook. However, Sankey Brook passes through Islands Brow and it burst its banks there. Also, Hardshaw Brook burst its banks just down the road from where I live, and the road is still closed. Black Brook and Hardshaw Brook both feed into Sankey Brook.
There endeth the lesson!

I doubt Lance could create havoc in the line down the Post Office never mind the opposition defence's. Team orders or not, him just not to be completely and utterly anonymous is about as good as we're going to get.

Thanks for that Saints Fan .Of course as soon as i got off the pc i went & studied a few books on the subject then of course there is the Sankey railway Viaduct how could i have forgotten that but i did Hope it does not get any nearer to you all.As a matter of interest or just pure guess work. My wife has said on a number of visit to LP that the Tescos car park is pretty full.I coud not answer her question wich was .How many Saints speccies are parked there, there was of course many species shopping in the store of course as well as us.but we where parked elsewhere.Which brings the final question do you know/heard of/of anyone that has parked there & got done for £70 as quoted by Tescos.I believe that what Tesocs was saying during the building of LP.Just an interesting thoght onher part.As i have been tempted a few times

None, if they have wisdom! Tesco will impose a fine of £60 if you park there and go to a match. I haven't heard of anyone being caught at Tesco but the multi storey is only five or so minutes' walk away from the stadium so there isn't much point in risking it IMO.

Hotties are still there, all cleaned up and no longer hot (because Pilks has gone from there). Fishing still goes on.
