Can pre-order the heritage shirt and new Saints strip from now by phone or in the shop; can pre-order them both on the Internet soon (I think from December).

We've just pre-ordered 2 of these (what's the difference between an order and a pre-order?) and the lady in the shop said they were "about half way through them" which we took to mean about half of the 1890 have already been ordered.

So get on with it if you want one.

I'll definately be buying the retro sweatshirt. I still wear the Joynty testimonial shirt quite often which is similar, great shirts and material designed for English weather.

There looks to be a lot of decent stuff in there this year.

Looks like I'm the only one that doesn't like the retro shirt; it looks like the red v has been painted on and then the point cut off.

Like the 1890 shirt though and I'm going to treat myself to one tomorrow for crimbo.

Terrible, online is the future, phone calls, and visits to shops are stuff of the past.

Some more info on the Heritage jerseys,I ordered one in the club shop today and they said there are two versions being released.
First,a polyester one (same material as last years home shirt) which is out in December then a heavyweight poly-cotton version which will be out at the end of January.

We went for the proper cotton(ish) ones.

I don't like it either but I do quite fancy the 1890 shirt (as well as the new shirt as modelled by Mr Roby, which I rather like).

We went for the polyester ones as the cottony types always shrink like buggery but feel nicer. Aslo, we wanted them in time for Crimbo.

It was a mare trying to get the superstore tel no. The "brilliant" "new" "inproved" online store doesn't have phone no details anywhere. I tried the site map but even that didn't work.

Teething problems no doubt.

I love the heritage shirt, great idea. That retro shirt would be good but black collar? Wtf is that all about? The polo with the white collar looks better. The black collar just makes it look poorly designed.
