| Saints weren't robbed
You were clearly second best and even if linehams try was ruled out (which I think was a try as his torso grounded the ball) then the game changes meaning the last Saints try wouldn't have happened
Kieran Cunningham was gracious in defeat and held his true thoughts well
It was tight but the best team won
Not one thread has said the best team lost, fact.

| I thought the gidley try wasn't grounded as soon as I saw it. Can't believe nobody even mentioned it.

| The ref murdered Saints all night. Every 50/50 call went against them. Got pinged for a high shot (video ref jumped in after 3 officials missed it) then didnt get done for 3 or 4 exactly the same in the next couple of sets. As a neutral it was bordering on cheating the way Saints got reffed.

It's not about which team played best it's about who scores the most points and the officials got that wrong. You can't award victories based on who you think played best.

| The Warrington board is unbelievable. Apparently the officials didn't get anything, and they mean anything wrong. Nothing controversial at all.
Anyway, for what it's worth, I felt incredibly sorry for Saints tonight in what has to be one of the most incompetent and clearly biased officiating displays I can remember.

| Re Walsh offside. If the players are in front of the kicker then they have to remain 10m away from the player catching it or the bounce of the ball. There were a good few saints players within that 10m.
You can ground a try with the torso.
Very harsh for Peyroux's try, but by the letter of the law there was no conclusive shot of the ball being grounded.
Saints not penalised once for have players in front of the ref in the defensive line, time and time again.

| I honestly don't think Wire were better. I thought it was two average sides having an arm wrestle and the tries were what separated them. Two offenses in the lead up to the first try and a knock on on the second. Wire did nothing after that and trailed before it.

Spot on..that exactly why Warrington are going to Old Trafford and your not.
video not 100% conclusive on the Saints no try...can't be given because the ref didn't award it....they are the rules.
Lineham gets it down..just.
Gidley scores end of.
Very happy that the best team over the season has got a chance to become champions.
Saints being crowned champs after the season they have had..that really would be a joke...thankfully its not happening

| You can ground a try with the torso. - The ball was dropped forward on to the ground before torso (was it even torso?) rolled over the ball.
Very harsh for Peyroux's try, but by the letter of the law there was no conclusive shot of the ball being grounded. - The ball clearly grounds and hits the white line, we have a different opinion of what conclusive means + two wrongs don't mean a right - Ref was wrong to give no try on field.
And there were two offenses in the lead up to Ratchford's try - A knock on by Wire in the tackle and a few tackles later, the player (I forget who) did not tap the ball. These are all simple mistakes by the officials.

Let's get it right - one potless average side and the 2016 LLS Winners, Challenge Cup and Grand Finalists.

you seem like a sensible, level headed type of fella...I agree with some of what you say...you win some you lose some. Move on and hope you team isn't relying on the likes of Jon Headshot Wilkin next year.
I hope you'll be cheering for us in the final v Pies
