I'd rather have a young hungry prop over him at the minute
The young lad might actually be d to play the ball and put in a decent days work
And let's get it right, he makes the same amount of mistakes if not more! Than a young un-experienced prop who's not played a full senior game

| He had a nightmare. Probably the only Saints player who did.

| But yet has been consistently very good for the last 2-3 months. Sia had a mare at the millenium did he not?
Sure he'll be back in a few weeks, still gives some morons a scapegoat & an opportunity to moan about something.

| After an extremely slow start he has got better, but last night was a mare. Even to the point where Rush had to hook him off before the ref did.
But we all have bad days and he has had some better ones before this. I'm not in the mood for bagging players to the point of chucking them out after a win in the playoffs. At this point it's get behind the team for me until the season ends. So expect me to ignore everything that's gone before and to be more positive about winning the entire lot. We have played playoff rugby since easter so we are primed for this type of game.

| I'm one of the few (I think) who are a real fan of Perry.
He's very hard to pull down and is a very strong and intelligent defender, often dominating opposition forwards and slowing there speed to play the ball significantly.
However, he's a borderline player. His better performances often leave me thinking that he's been lucky not to have been penalised a few times. He was just a little bit off his game last night, and found himself giving away some silly things. He was helped by dropping a very unsympathetic pass from Lomax and a dubious strip from higham int he opening plays which didn't go our way.

| Why don't we put the young prop and U20's captain WAlker in the squad instead of Perry! The lad seems to be getting raves reviews if you read the match reports on our website. Perry has been dissapointing all season tbh and it'll be great experience that will bold well for the club in the future.

mate, i've defended Perry since the day he got here, throughout his injuries and poor form i've always said he will come good and show us all what got him that Australia cap. and for a while this year against the weaker opposition he's been good, and I thought he was getting there. but if he's going to be a liability time and time again when it matters... i'd rather take a gamble on a younger kid (ie. Chris Hill at Wire!!) than on some Aussie veteran who clearly can't be d and plays like he thinks he is far too good for our league!

Gaz Frodsham springs to mind. He was also getting great reviews, he was captain of England but we put him in to early.
If he's not ready then he's better in u20s for his sake and ours.

| One bad game doesn't make him useless. He was a bit wild yesterday but he was there with the kind of aggression we needed to win the game. He is a pack leader in those circumstances and without him on the pitch we lose that. He sets the example.
I should add that Westwood provides a similar role with Warrington (note, similar, not the same). Without him in their defensive line up there wasn't that flying around that he can bring, which fires up your own team to get into the game with him. If he's back in two weeks time it'll be a different game.

Just 1 bad game Bit wild Ive been hoping now for 2 seasons for him too prove to the fans he was the real deal,it aint happening,he cant cut it,whether it by the injuries he's sustained just after we signed him or since he's been here but he must rate as 1 of the worst signings we've had in recent years per salary cap £'s to the team, mind you lance has a chance of pushing him close.
As for comparing him similarly too westwood in any shape or form is just a joke
