Oh I'm not doubting him, I think he's been one of our best 'props' to date. However, I'm not sure he would be here if we had bagged players that we really wanted. |

Yeah I know, but I believe we had approached others before him. The props we were looking at after Laffranchi were english, post September. |

We went for Waterhouse before laffranchci but he opted for another club.
Laffranchci has done ok considering he's playing in a postion he's not used to with no other quality props.
I think laffranchci would have been the ideal prop to partner jammer if he'd stayed but unfortunately for laffranchci he's not got another good hard working prop alongside him. |

I thought we give up on Waterhouse to retain Puletua as Griffin seemed in the bag and Laffranchi was the cheaper option of the 2. |
