Valid comments although i reckon we will go with a third prop at 13 this week and play a tighter game in order to try and take advantage of your lack of front rowers. If we try to play an open game then we will lose, i reckon our players and coaching staff know that.
Maybe we can cut loose and throw the ball about in the final quarter when we have worn you down. Or maybe i'm just seriously over-optimistic.

Under Ian Millward we had a Championship winning team and we usually only had 1 maybe two props. They are slow and get in the way!!!

As for Saddeneds theory about losing being a sign of impending doom. We haven't won on humberside (Hull or Hull KR) for over 2 years.

Don't give him more ammo, he'll just say he's been predicting this doom for the last 3 years.

This would be my choice, hope Royce drops the back replacement idea for this week, we are not short in the backs, in fact as far as our back line goes, that's pretty much a first choice back line. Ok some wil argue eastmond, but I think come playoffs and GF, eastmond would still only make bench.

Also our pack bar props are also first choice. Realistically we are 3 players off a first choice team,, so we should have enough to manage. dixon and Ashurst had decent games last week. I'd expect an intense 1st 30 from our pack to try and really take the energy out of the KR players. Then some rotation of LMS and Clough with Soliola stepping up to prop maybe. The rest filling the spots behind.

It's a goodd team and only Perry, TP and Graham would walk into this team, the rest are there on merit.

So looking at this I have to agree with Saints fan, they are not really threatening with huge pack either, and our backs on paper should beat their backs man for man. In fact would you swap any player in our probable starting 13?

Disappointing that we have our two biggish props injured in Lovegrove and Clinton so I think the game will be fairly matched in the forward department..

He has been used as one, which is why I tend to think of him as one. But this is the season when Gardner played in the second row so who knows what Magennis actually is!

i agree the plan is probably for him to become a prop. but at the moment hes still a second rower for mine. im sure he will bulk up with age and only time will tell if he can take on a role similar to clough and.

I think he's made for the prop/loose role that Royce goes for. He's by far the best from are young forwards as he has a off load game.
