Jake Emmitt was on dual reg at Leigh also and he played in the Grand Final for us, so you never know.

Is it? To be honest, I'd fully expect a coach to make full plans for all his players. Even ones that were on dual registrations. The clue is in the title.

I was under the impression that Armstrong would only be called back if he was needed due to injury etc...

I am sure there will be times through the season where he'll be called upon due to injury etc. Simmons obviously wants him to get some proper game time week in week out to prepare him for a roll at some point in the season.

You're assuming he's actually been drinking rather than just making reference to drink part of the laugh, like chunky kit kats or whatever. I wouldn't take it so seriously; my guess is that it's all tongue in cheek.
