If it were up to me I'd pick Wigan. Just to deny Warrington a potential victory at KR.

But it's 99.99% certain the semi finalists will be Saints, Leeds, Wire and Wigan and that the Saints will choose Warrington.

And I still think its set up for a wigan v saints final. Wigan will not play as poor as this again. We got beat by one point against these and in truth when deacon went off we lost all direction. Wigan will re group and win next week, now do we think wire will beat hudds?

With a little luck either hudds or hull kr will win next week and we can pick one of them. No matter who we play it's going to be tough.

I honestly think we may struggle to get through next week but if we do and you pick us I think you'd wallop us with it being the last ever game at Knowsley road. I do just get the feeling though you'd avoid it due to maybe that added pressure and expectation it would put on the Saints players and the record you have against Wire.

One thing is for sure and thats with us losing tonight it has made the club call so much more intriguing! If us and Wire get through it's going to be a great build up the club call. If Potter has any brain in his head he will go for Wire and send Wigan on a collision to Leeds. Wigan v Leeds is an accident waiting to happen now and your guranteed a few players on report or injured.

I'm glad we don't have to pick now. Next week when we know who are through we can look at it from many angles. Who has had the shortest turnaround for 1 and injuries picked up in next weeks games is another. I'm sure the players and especially our captain KC will be consulted as well. I'm not sure they will pick the lowest placed team but the team that they feel they can manage to beat. It at least gives us a talking point for the coming week.
