For what its worth, Ill be amazed if he doesn't get two games, but agree the definition of a shoulder charge needs tidying up. Moon came in third man after the tackle was effected, same charge but light years difference in similarity.



One thing that grates is the inconsistency of the panel. Some of the tackles & incidents in the Wigan v Wire game bordered on assault never mind a reckless challenge.

To be honest, he hasn't set the world alight for a while, so losing him won't be the end of the world. I'd be more concerned is it was Amor. Couple of weeks rest, comes back better for the final, winners all round

It would be typical of the RFL to have got the charge completely wrong but to ban him despite the technicality.



The thought of Clark running at Walmsley around the ruck makes me shudder in any case. Get Thompson in there if he is banned.

Thompson should be in there even if walmsley was playing. He has that enthusiastic energy and commitment that certain other players lack.

Me too, I can understand if he's being held back a little but it's been a real impressive year for him. Now is the time to get our best players in the team and I think he's good enough.

I'd go with that. I've not seen Laffranchi do anything to justify his place in the side ahead of Thompson.

Walmsley has looked out of condition for quite a few games now, if we had the fitter version like the beginning of the season he would have got to Luke Robinson a second earlier and would have legally splattered him.

I would play Sav and Thompson ahead of Walmsley and Lefranc.

I like Boof and I think he is criminally under-rated by many, especially defensively. I sense he isn't popular amongst fans as he is a quota player and expectations are somewhat higher for him but he is an important player for us.

He,s OK defensively but the problem is we need a lot of go forward in the pack to give our "stand in" halves a bit more time and space. Boof never seems to win the collison where Thompson will try and run through a brick wall if given the chance.

I can believe that there's a discussion here suggesting that the technicality (not a shoulder charge) is used to get him off cleaning out another player. He's clearly guilty of an attack to the head of Robinson, are we suggesting it's Striking with the shoulder and, I don't know a grade C offence there rather than a C for SC?
