Ward was crap but we expected him to be crap. Perry was a big name signing and has been awful

Worse than that, he turned up, showed (on occasion) he could do what we expected but practically went down hill (fast) from day one.

Perry has been paid £150k a season over three years, and in this time has only played 44 games for the club. This works out at more than £10k per game and he has been nothing short of an absolute disgrace in at least 40 of those games. This has surely got to prove he is the worst signing ever for anybody??

I remember when St.Helens signed Micheal Smith from Castleford and thinking he would be a good signing for Saints but then for some reason it just didn't work out - did he even play a game?

he turned up for a pre-season friendly looking like he had been on the Nigel Wood diet, and that was the last time we saw him. Pretty awful signing, but nowhere on the Perry scale.

Another name just came leaping to mind, 2 time Challenge Cup winner Ricky Bibey.

Whilst not the least talented, Perry has been the biggest disappointment.

bibey wasn't bad for you lot, I don't think, and actually played very well in preseason for us, but broke his jaw - when he returned, he'd turned into a bit of a jellyfish.
I've seen broken jaws and cheeks affect players at my level in a similar manner.

He has got as many Challenge Cup winners medals as the entire Leeds squad combined...but how he played in 2 cup winning teams is beyond me.

Bibey was a waste of space, struggled to hold the ball (or when he did gave it away with a stupid offload to the opposition) and I still rate him higher than Perry...at least he managed to play games and appeared to put a bit of effort in (despite a lack of actual ability)

Kyle Amor has done nothing since signing for Saints, you should send him back to Trinity forthwith.
