Yes, he'd be a typical Saints signing, another 32 year old antipodean.

I honestly don't know why you feel the need to act like that. When you have a reasonable head on you actually engage in some good discussions.

| O Donnell wouldnt be worth it. His shoulder is absolutely shot, leave him to go back to the NRL and chase the cash.
I wouldnt be too disheartened losing TP, he has given the team more than they could've asked for over the last few years playing out of position and getting the job done with minimal fuss.
A great player but time has well and truly caught up now

| If there was truth in it, he is a player that we need to keep or at least replace like for like. He was was the only member of the pack who gave us respectable go-forward last week. I'd be gutted to lose him, he can make or break a game.
We can only carry so many Jon Wilkin types in the back row (his go forward was, quite frankly, embarrassing for a forward probably on 'international wages', but that is another matter) and we have a relatively undersized front row as it is without losing a unit.

But he did stuff all in defence. He stood around and let others attempt the tough work and only completed 16 tackles himself. And he does that week on week, yet still gets picked, even when he makes fewer yards than he did last weekend. He's stealing a living at present and has been for some time.

I assume you're trolling as usual. But if you actually do think that dropping a good yardage maker and game-breaking forward in exchange for a hard-working drone because he does 'stuff all in defence', then you are out of your mind.
By that logic, the likes of Tony Williams and Sam Kasiano are dung and the Australian and NZ international coaches are picking them for giggles.

Oh dear.
I know. I love Rogues' wind ups and always take them with a laugh and a pinch of salt, but I have a feeling he has had me hook line and sinker with this account and it has been an alter ego master plan all along

Lent starts on Wednesday and I have my be nice to Saints fans in that time.
But the point I was trying to make (I do accept it was a little sarcastically), that I don't think Saints should be looking at replacing one overseas aged player with another, especially one with such a bad injury record.

i very much doubt they are, we dont generally sign over 30's, with the exception of Manu there has been very few 30+ signings ,yes a few will turn 30 in their contract but they weren't when we signed them.

1,2 or maybe 3, but not 7 or 8. It's just delaying the inevitable. It will catch up eventually.
I think Leeds, Wire and yourselves have some careful recruitment to do in the next two or three years.
In our (Wigans) case I think we probably need one or two more experienced players. Someone posted a stat that said we had 15 players under the age of 26 in Fridays squad.
