Wire will see off Hudds without breaking into too much of a sweat, and, as much as it pains me to say it, I don't see us giving Wigan too many problems either. The bottom half of the draw is much more tricky to call: Leeds v Hull and Catalans v Hull KR could go any way at all IMO. I fancy us against any of the teams from 4-8, and can see us beating Catalans or Hull FC at home in week 2 before being dumped out by Wigan or Warrington in week 3.

Hopefully the stars will align and we'll pull off some surprises, but I can't see the GF being anything other than Wigan v Warrington. In all fairness, that's what it should be.

Presuming us and Hudds lose in week 1, then we'll be the highest placed loser, which means we'll play the lowest ranked winner of the games between the bottom four. So if Leeds and Cats win it'll be Cats. If Hull beat Leeds it'll be them.

Yes, believe it or not! Leeds in 5th, the Dragons in 6th.

If both wolves and pies win in week one, do they get week two off or do the play the first semi final?

Yep, week 2 is eliminators, losers from the top 4 games v winners of the bottom 4 games.

Plus Warrington will get the clubcall if that happens.

So week two IMO will be saints v Cats and hudds v Leeds.

Warrington only get the club call if they win their first match. If they don't then it's the next highest placed club who won their first match who gets the club call.

Can't see Hull troubling Leeds although I wouldn't rule out a Rovers win over Catalans. Catalans could pose a threat to us if we end up playing them but I would be confident of us beating Rovers.
