Beat me lol!!

Not sure what i think now without Roby, Long may as well play some part even from the bench!
Cunningham really has to battle through the pain now!

I agree, I think. I've gone for the team that Potter will select if everyone is fit. I can't decide if I would start Eastmond or not but at least he can play hooker to spell KC.

It was cack the whole team and i for one aint impressed
AJ wrote - Sean Long once again tore us to pieces. Its all well and good us singing Sean Long is a W@nker, but he was laughing back along by conducting the chant whilst ripping us to bits.
Robinson wrote - Saints - it depends on whether the side can get over their mental block. We're more than capable of beating 'Dads Army', but it appears that Wigan still shiit themselves at the mere sight of a red V.:27550.jpg |

Long will start, then Kyle on for KC, then in the 2nd half KC to return and Kyle to go 7 and Longy to go off

Yeah i see what you have done whilst picking your team.....But this long injury has actually been beneficial for saints because it has proven that Eastmond is ready IMO, especially playing and being so influential in games such as Warrington away and the Wigan game.

| Eastmond had some very good moments in the Wigan game, but was also anonymous for large parts of the game. We lacked organisation, especially when we were on the offensive. Eastmond will need to learn to to take control more, as I am sure he will.
However if Long is fit enough to play this weekend, it maybe the influence and organisation that he is brought in for. Eastmond could come off the bench to provide cover, and also provide impact as second hooker.

Word on the street is that Robes will be in the 17 & Longy will drop out. Team to be named an hour before kick-off.

I have hope... Because I have faith in Saints: |
|
| Long will bring some organisation but i don't think it's fair that Eastmond, who has been playing so well, should be pushed aside just because Long is back.
If Long plays at his best then we will have a better chance of winning, but we don't know how he's going to perform. I'm just hoping, if Long's picked, that he doesn't play like he did against Salford - otherwise we are in trouble.

Gilmour off the bench is a waste of time for me, i'd have Long on the bench and Gilmour instead of Dean
I can see why you have done that to keep Long out, as you couldn't justify Dean on the bench in place of Long

No, because i think Dean has played very well and been consistent for us. I'd prefer him at centre to Gilmour.
Gilmour is more versatile than Longy.

Its the first comment you have made about Chris Dean before - conveniently timed too
You do have KC playing an awful long time on potentially one leg - Gilmour maybe versatile but he ain't no hooker!
Where is Long was on the bench Kyle can do the acting half work and be bloody quick around the PTB when KC needs a break

Eastmond going into hooker when KC goes off and Long goes to scrum half, we need Kyle's speed at dummy half.

Same here. Gilmour is needed elsewhere.
I cannot believe Long is going to play. That's just silly.

Long has to go in. While Eastmond did a great job, our lack of an out-and-out decision maker made our last tackle plays an absolute farce. We can't afford that in a semi final.
OR
if Long doesn't play, Eastmond needs to be given more responsibility when it comes to the last tackle.
