Take a bow son. An absolute trojan tonight. A warrior if there ever was one. Saw a pie and devoured it like a fat man at lunchtime. Tackle, tackle, tackle. Bish, bash, bosh. Tackle, tackle, tackle.
2 - LMS
Play like that every week you cockney muppet! The only player bar Sia with a real, likeable personality. He could be an absolute legend for us, if he put that effort in every week. Mind you, I was screaming the place down when he didn't just trample that scrawny rat when he made the break in the first half.
3 - Wilkin
Alright, he's a terrible halfback, but he's really standing up for us. Even when he messes up time and time again he still puts his hand up to be the one to mess up again and I appreciate that in a player. It's all too easy to just hide, take the fifth tackle and watch someone else try.

| Stuart Howarth was superb, put a 100% into that and credit to him. Best I've ever seen him play.

| I agree with the person that said we fell apart when Wellens came on. We were effectivley down to one "halfback".

The props and the forwards, in general won us that game. These 3 haven't made the headlines this year, but they helped to dominate the Wigan pack. As Wilkin, predicted, we ripped into em!

Laffranchi made some hard yards tonight and put in a shift! I was impressed by GOB defence. Was quick out the line and made the tackle and against some big fellas. Hes a tough cookie that lad!

I agree, howarth was top class in defence, he worked his bottom off, put some big hits in and was aggressive. IMO last night was better than his Leeds away performance.

Interesting comment from BrownI thought Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook stood up and played well. He's found his right position and that helps.[/iGiven that he started at 13, is that where he sees him playing?

| It just goes to show what Louis has got under the hood.
He's never been completely consistant, but this season its been very few and far between. Hopefully, when/if we turn a corner, we can look forward to more of these performances.
Louis and other players showed not only desire, but real comtempt for the pies, and this swagger helped our confidence. LMS with the whole "get to the sin bin", Wellens and Jones mixing it up and even lil Stuart Howarth when Mossop tried to scare him at the PTB. It was all so much more positive than what we've seen of late.
It was interesting that one of the SKY team said when they arrived at the stadium, they could hear the whole team in the changing room singing "Oh When The Saints".
