| I have it as Anthony Walker (No. 10) but I'm not 100% as there were a few in the tackle.

| Went to this game today to watch as a neutral on a rare day off. I'm neither a Saints/Wigan fan so very much went to watch a good game and, at times, it didn't disappoint.
Wigan deserved the win being too strong in the last 15 mins for the very young Saints side.
What was disappointing was the attitude of the Wigan crowd. Now I'm used to Wigan fans believing that all refs are against their team but I heard one "fan" call a Saints guy a "d##k" when he dared to question a decision that went Wigan's way. This led to a bit of a strange atmosphere, almost like a stand-off at times then when Wigan started to stretch the score in the last 10 mins their "fans" started chanting "Easy, Easy".
This went too far and was well out of order. The game wasn't easy at all.
For years, I've always felt Wigan think they have a god given right to win, dominate and expect any decision to go their way. I've seen it creeping in even at Junior (U8s) upwards level.
Mark my words, one day, such chanting (Easy, Easy) will cause something to kick-off at a game that isn't stewarded.
This isn't just the case with Saints as opponents either, as last year I watched Warrington U20s beat Wigan very narrowly and late-on that caused uproar in the crowd.

| I went to the u20's game, 1st time at Orrell, the wigans fans were a disgrace in the stand, screaming saints were on steriods etc. - complete morons!!!
On the game Wigan had the edge throughout - Roberts quality shone through - Best for a very young saints were no6 no10 and no11 all three have the pedigree to step up to the mark in the future - No6 was quality at putting the lads in through some holes, No10 was unbeleivalbe in defence and attack, No11 ran great lines - Well done you three.
With some injuries in the 1st team maybe some of them may get a look in against sheffield!

anyone who has watched rugby back in the dark days when Wigan dominated (through being the only FTP team) will understand your point. I grew up surrounded by arrogant Wigan fans (Ashton used to be dominated by Goons), this slipped somewhat over recent years but it's now back in force. It's what made me chuckle when some of the younger fans on here started to feel sorry for Wigan when they were struggling , I bet that wont happen again if/when Wigan slip.

There were no chants of easy easy as this "neutral fan" claimed.
Or is he neutral or just not telling the truth.
See below.

I have seen this at recent GF games with Saints and Leeds and also at Wembley with Saints and Hull fans (yes - I am Saints fan). I'm not picking on any named team either, all clubs have their idiots especially when beer is freely available - Saints more than many!

This!
People around me felt sorry for them after the 75-0 game, especially as they had shipped 70 the week before.
I told them to not be stupid and that a foot should always be kept across their throat when they were down.
RL fans are fortunate that the internet was not so readily available (if at all) when Wigan were in their pomp, because they would have been a 1000 times more unbearable than they are now.

I lived that nightmare - which is why I'll always want them to lose , and lose by a cricket score no matter who they play

What has that to do with something that didn't happen being posted about a game on Saturday (which was the original topic) by a fan who in one post claims to be neutral and in another claims to be a Saints fan.

lol maybe they will care what you think on cherry and white. I hope your being ironic too , I mean the king of detrailing threads having the audacity to moan about someone else lol. as for what did or didnt go on at the game , who's to say , you (biased Wiganer) say one thing, a neutral who may or may not be a Saints fan says another.

| Let me please explain why I only questioned the post today. I was sat with my friend in the stand for 75 minutes of the game and never heard any of this so called chanting. I was actually sat just in front of one of the saints academy lads parents and we had a good conversation about certain player on both sides whilst watching the game.
With about five minutes to go we walked behind the posts to watch the last few minutes of the game from there, as we generally do, so my mate can get off the car park quickly. I still hadn't heard of this so called chanting.
So with this in mind I asked another couple of mated who were still in the stand at the end of the game, and guess what they hadn't heard anything either.
Then when I check his posts he appears to contradict himself as to who he supports, and quite a few of his posts are about fans "falling out" with each other.

"Rogues" in response to you questioning my team allegance, I will confirm that my preferred team ]was] St Helens and this was the case until 2008. Following cup finals (C.Cup and Grand Final) I lost my enjoyment of the game after witnessing too many idiots falling out with each other with both opponents fans and own fans - no doubt booze fuelled!
Since then I've followed grass roots rugby and the occasional U18s/U20s fixtures. OK - I do still always look out for Saints results first and I guess I'll always see Saints as my preferred team but I'm certainly no longer a supporter.
Hope this clears this up for you.
Now back to my main point, I completely disagree with you saying there was no ]"so called chanting" ]. This was clearly heard from the back of the stand after the Wigan winger scored the final try and the conversion. This was late on (78 mins) by memory so I'll give you the benefiit of the doubt that you had left.
Comments from others also back-up my post of the general attitude of some "fans" so please focus on my points rather than questioning any motives I may have.
Nice to hear of your keen interest in the Saints yet again, you do seem to be most interested and always willing to comment on a team YOU claim not to follow!!!!!!!!!!!!
