The only problem is that's an industrious but seriously lightweight back row. I'd like to see either Soliola or preferably Puletua (or maybe even Cunningham?)in the back row to offer a bit more muscle.

I see your point, and my preference would be for Soliola to play back row. But if he was brought into the pack we'd probably have:
Graham
Cunningham
Fozzard
Soliola
Wilkin/Flanno/Clough
Roby
Moore
Fa'asavalu
Puletua
Wilkin/Flanno/Clough
But that would mean dropping one of Wilkin/Flannery/Clough from the first choice pack and I can't see that happening.
A starting back row of Wilkin/Flannery/Roby may be small-ish, but with Graham/Cunningham/Fozzard in the front row with TP/Fas/Clough on the bench I don't think we'd lack too much up front.
There aren't many really big back rows in SL anyway. Of course it may well be that Potter won't play all three of KC/Roby/Moore but from the way he's been speaking, I think he intends to.

| I have it on very good authority that Soliola will be featuring in the pack this year not the centres. That's not my opinion or my preference it's what I've heard from a very good source (wasabe).

| Wheeler at centre then I take it. Hopefully we'll be more dangerous next year with Wheels and Eastmond on the pitch all the time.
Still need a 1,2 and 5 to match Leeds though.

| I'd prefer tony P in the back row, but its not likely to happen with lack of front rowers and too many back rowers.
Flannery wouldnt get in my 17, Cloughy, Soliola, Wilkin are well ahead of him IMO, before you start on the less senior back rowers.

That would be a decent pack. Potter will probably be criticized for whatever he chooses, but he's got to make some big decisions on the Roby/Moore situation, one way or another.

I'd love to see us have a go at this. If it worked we would have our most complete pack since '06. However, while I think Cunningham has all the attributes to tear it up at prop (he already defends like one and is still immense going forward), I don't know if his body would be up to it.

i just think the 20 minute stints would be perfect for him as well

If we start using KC as a prop we'll be a squad player down half way through the season IMO.
Besides, I'd leave Moore out of the 17 before I played KC at prop. He's too important to us at 9.

Puletua may well play in the back row, there is always Hargreaves to play prop. I'd imagine Soliola will play centre, unless we have a back row crisis or come up against a monster pack, as he was signed as a centre.
