I can't imagine Wheeler leaving saints, not with the way they've supported him. He obvioulsy has their faith and should hopefully be determined to pay them back.
Regarding our youngsters, from the slightly older lads, I'm hoping to see a bit of Forster this season, who aparently looked good on his debut against quins, and I wonder whether Greenwood will manage a debut? He's talked up by few who've seen him and certianly has a much more impressive physical appearence than some of our recent young backrows. |

Signing three more foreign players who are not available to the England national team is not my idea of a positive move. With Lauaki and Gelling that makes it 5 players Wigan have signed that are not available to the England national team.
Such a great way to spend the extra cap money they've been granted.

It certainly is. If only Saints could have afforded to do it. Well they probably could if they hadn't borrowed £6 million to finish the stadium. 
And we'll be able to offer the younger players educational opportunities at Central Park just in case they don't fulfil their potential.
Is it true that Saints Fan has applied for a job there? |

What about Kel Coslett, John Warlow, John Mantle, Roy Mathias, Bob Prosser, Scot Gibbs, Clive Griffiths, Jonathan Griffiths, Frank Wilson (great lad) etc who all I presume spoke the very best Queens English. I'm sure they were all welcomed at Saints.
I could understand why you wanted rid of Stuart Evans though.
Who was that other Welsh legend, Kieron Cunnigham?
Wigan again leading the way promoting our great game.

It's not irritating me, it's funny. And it's a worthwhile topic of discussion. Leneghan clearly has a vision of how he sees RL working in the sporting marketplace amongst much bigger fish and his work over the last few weeks has had more direction and strategic thinking behind it than the RFL have managed in years and I applaud that. But with him being Wigan chairman, there is always the doubt about whether his intentions are honest and he's controlling the future of the game with it's future growth in mind or whether it's just a cynical scheme to maximising Wigan's benefit given the weakness of the sport's governing body.
