I thought things were looking good until about an hour ago when the snow suddenly decided to go mad again! It will take a fan of a hardy kind to go to Langtree Park tonight. The players will be cold enough but the fans will be hypothermic!

Game well may be on but seriously who wants to watch a game disrupted by weather like this. Should have been cancelled IMHO.

I don't think there will be many people watching tonight. The snow is coming down thick and fast, and that wind is strong and freezing cold. I'm tempted not to go myself even though I'm a season ticket holder. It will be perishing in the West Stand.

At times like this you seriously wonder about the people running things at Saints.

Some on here want to stiffen their backbones! A little bit of snow and wind shouldn't put fans off.
Put on a couple of extra layers and take flask of brandy infused coffee. Jobs a good un.

The pitch is perfectly fine as it was covered and it has been cleared to play on by the relevant match official person. I think Saints want to avoid a short turnaround for the Wigan match and I'm sure Salford feel similarly for their Good Friday game and so they are pressing ahead regardless. The snow isn't sticking at present but of course that could change. However, that wind is bloody freezing.

I would not be overly concerned as most of St. Helens is flat. But if you have any kind of incline to get home, if the snow is falling you may look far more daft having to abandon your car on the way home. It's falling quite fast now in Leeds, I will definately be giving this one a miss.

Wise move. The M62 tonight will be horrendous.

Everyone has been involved in the decision, it was decided to try and get the game on tonight to aid recovery for the players before the Easter weekend.
