As a coach I know that (a) poor tackling technique and (b) poor conditioning can lead to injuries. Also, poor defence can do so because people scramble without getting themselves into safe positions to make the tackle. Therefore, if Potter is not training them well and/or the conditioner is not doing his job appropriately, injuries on the field are more likely to occur. Bruising to the ribs and sternum would be excellent examples of such injury.

That's anyone's guess! Meli hasn't reappeared yet either ... (mind you, except that he would be an extra body on the pitch, that is probably a blessing)

Yes, as that is a dreadful team bar 4 players. The three-quarter line is even worse than ours and at the moment that is saying something.

Whether it will win or not is another matter, as the players look dejected and the tactics are as bad as last season.

However i do not rate your team or coach, people seem to think Bradford will do well because you have signed a number of Australians. I truely believe you will be bottom 3 this season mate.

No it isn't. They didn't gel on Friday but then they have crucial players who are new to the team so it's likely they will need a few matches to get into their rhythm. Our lot have had plenty of chance to get into their rhythm but alas they don't seem to have one other than slow, dropping ball, falling off tackle and failing to score try. Pretty much the same rhythm as much of last season only we've added the extra beat of falling off tackle.

I'll be surprised if we do, unless we see a very, very dramatic improvement in all areas of our performance.

Where did Bradford finish last season? They sign a star (but aging) halfback, a decent hooker (when they already had one) and a stand off that hasn't played for a year due to injury, and all of a sudden they are a top side?
