I'm not sure it's a good signing to be honest. He's 33 and has been injury prone.
He looked very much passed it against Leeds on Friday.

Be flattered that we do. It means we give a $hit. It's when we're silent that you know we can't be bothered with you and have opted to text our mates instead.
This signing, if true, smacks of desparation and naff planning. It's a bit of a joke IMO. One minute we're letting old geezers go here, there and everywhere, and next minute we're signing them back!
Gilmour still going to Hudds?
Longy to Hull?
Never know, we may resign Tommy God or Joynty next.

Agree to some extent.
Hopefully it will spark the fire again for him and he'll give us a good year.
At least it takes the workload of the others!

| If Fozz is coming back and we hopefully sign antoher prop, will we see Emmitt and Frodsham out on loan? Would do their physicality some good, I reckon, especially Emmit who's the heavier out the two but yet to adjust to 1st team level.
Or am I jumping the gun?

| Just why? What does Foz offer us now that he didn't at the start of the year?
It's a sign of how quickly we are going backwards. If he's the only signing I'll be mega disappointed.

Somebody mentioned that Hull KR were paying for him to leave. And effectively we would pay him less for the year. Not sure if that is true or not, but its the only explanation I can think of for bringing him back.
He is past his best, but could definitely do a job for us. I think Wilkin mentioned he was also good for the dressing room...
We will still need a class replacement for Cayless...

| TBF he has not had a great season with Rovers, though that said i don't think they have used him properly either. Too many minutes early in the season made him less effective.
Played in 15 minute spells he could still do a job imo and i'm sure Graham would appreciate a little breather from time to time.

Which is precisely why he's here.
I'm happy with the signing, we'll have a decent pack next year even if we don't sign another forward - I think we'll see TP propping from the bench and Soliola in the centres.
Wello
Gardner
Gidley
Soliola
Meli
Pryce
Eastmond
Graham
Cunningham
Fozzard
Wilkin
Flannery
Roby
TP
Maurie
Clough
Moore
That is a good team, with some good fringe players (Hargreaves, Wheeler, Lomax, Emmitt, Frodsham etc).
No need for the 2010 wrist slitting, even without another signing (although I think we've got another squad forward on the way in).
Saints for the treble!

He probably brings something more than just experience and depth to the prop position.
From what I understand he is a bit if character in the dressing room and was a good boost to morale!
Didn't he also marry a girl from Warrington and buy a house there? The commute to Hull alone must take its tole over a season and affect his overall performance level?
