Great as he is/was, I think that's a bit harsh on one or two others.
Gilmour played well, Meli had a very good game & James Graham worked his nuts off.
Huddersfield had 17 stars today. More passion than I've seen in any game this season. |

What happened to Saints' deep attacking formation today,where they pass out wide 15 yards behind the 'advantage line' thus creating time and space?I thought they played a very flat passing game today which played into the hands of Huddersfield.

Huddersfield closed us down with our wide options. Their defence was up in our face and we ended up trying to force the pass in those wide situations. Huddersfield were far better than us today. That's the way she goes. |

Huddersfield defence completely demolished our attacking plays.
Every time Wellens linked in the line they had him spotted and nailed him.
I also think they repeatedly exposed our lack of pace. They got two tries by simple kick chases past Wellens.
