Not many options tbh, weird thing is we could end up with 3 goal kickers in the 17 this week if Ellis and Eastmond both make it too. I would presume though if he is on the field Foster will be first choice kicker???

I can't see any other option than to play him, and against a weakened quins side, it might be the right time.

One of his best games was when he play wing at home, he's got awesome acceleration. With leon relatively young and Soloiola in next year, centre or 6 arn't a option for a while for him, but i think with his attitude and skill he'll fit in most back positions

I don't really rate Dean to be honest, but he had a good game on Friday, probably his best yet.

I would rather have someone like Chris Dean come through and progress gently without hype, than have a Ste Tyrer who is hyped to high heaven, then gets slated by the fans when he cocks up as a kid, and ends up getting his confidence knocked, and consequently struggling to earn his trade in the reserves at Celtic.
Foster will come through when the time his right.
Dont expect miracles though when he does come through. He will make mistkes and wont be rippng teams to shreads.'"
Some sense at last. We didn't lose the game because of kicks we lost it because we couldn't control the ball well enough.

No, we clearly lost if because of kicks. I would have kicked two of those attempts and we would therefore have won.

Definitely lost because of the kicks. Did you see the match stats in this week's League Express? We beat Wakey in everything bar the kicking (in-field and goal). No doubt about it at all: it was definately the kicks wot did it. But no matter. I think the point has finally sunk in: we need to address the kicking issue.

Quote: Blobbynator "I don't really rate Dean to be honest, but he had a good game on Friday, probably his best yet.'"
Deans a bit of a quiet achiever, he doesnt grab the attention like Wheeler who has a great step and acceleration, but de does the work.
A quick look at a stat comparison between the two makes interesting reading
www.superleague.co.uk/statistics ... eason=2009
For example Dean has made more metres, clean breaks and tackle busts in one fewer game. He has also made nearly twice as many tackles and made 1/3rd of the errors that Wheeler has.
On Wheelers side of the argument i will say that he is 2-3 years younger than Chris Dean, so is likely to be a far better player at 21 than he is now.
