I wasn't agreeing to that at all. It was the RFL who determined it was unintentional, not me, and they did so when Maurie did a similar thing at the outset of the season. If the two were of the same seriousness then I would have been perfectly happy for Maurie to have had a two match ban just as I would have liked to see JJB have a two match ban. I think it merited more than a one match ban, particularly since the RFL claim to be attempting to stamp out that kind of tackle (joke of the season). |

Maurie's was accidental and not specifically targeted to injure a key opposition player.
If it wasn't Graham that received the 4 attempts (Purtill 2009 ) there wouldn't be this amount of controversy. |
