Lomax is our key attack, no doubt about that, it's no coincidence we went on 12 match winning run when lomax came back and our attack picked up.
The outside backs look decent as does the pack but the halves look weak.

I thought Lomax had a good game in a well-beaten England side today. Joined the line well, and added threat. In SL, if he keeps that up, with two decent centres, we have grounds for optimism.

The problem imo is getting good ball to the likes of percy, lomax and Morgan

| Keeping our Backs Fit is the most important thing for me, our Back line is as good as anyone in the League, the problems start when we get injuries.

Is it? Perhaps it's been so long since we've had a decent 1-5 out on the field, but I can't help thinking a few teams are better than us in the backs.
Lomax, Morgan (Hopefully) and Percival are quality. Makinson is a very limited player but reliable and consistent and it remains to be seen what condition he's in when he returns from his injury. Swift I've never been entirely convinced by. But it will be exciting to see Lomax, Swift, Morgan, Percival, Makinson named together instead of the likes of McDonnell, Dawson, Fleming, Turner and Owens.
I'd still like another signing though. Either a backrower or a halfback. If we get an injury in the halves, we'll be back to Wilkin at halfback, or even Tommy Lee.

I actually agree with you on our backs. Makinson is always 7/10 and rarely goes above it, he's very consistent. Swift can come up with some marvellous plays but then can go and drop 3 simple balls.

| Yeah, I'm not sure our backline as as good as all that. A lot will depend on how good Morgan turns out to be. If he offers a genuine threat on that side of the field then we will have a strong setup, but if he turns out to be another mediocre fringe-NRL man then we'll still lack a bit of incision. Still difficult to look past Leeds for the best backline, IMO.

He never said he was. He said he reminded him of his play.

Saying 'he reminds me of', is comparing him favourably with Cayless.

No it isn't. Jack Black reminds me of Kieron Cunningham; that doesn't mean I think he's a world class hooker. Look a couple of posts down from the one you quoted and you'll see me explicitly stating that I don't think Douglas is as good as Cayless. He reminds me of him in that he's a rangey prop whose main virtue is his workrate rather than explosive ball-carrying.
