Jon Wilkin for me. He's always been our leader anyway in everything but title. He's been our main man this season so far.

if not wilkin defo roby, i think wellens could be a great captain but with him not having many years left in him it seems more fitter to give it to wilkin or roby ( or maybe both )

I'd agree, we need to giving players like Makinson & Ashe a chance

I guess he means wello is getting older , slower and although he is good positionally he offers very little now on kick returns etc etc ..

But he is still the best FB at the club, regardless of how old or slow he is. He is an absolute rock in our team, possible the most reliable player in SL and without him we would of conceded many more points this season. It would be daft to overlook him if he was available IMO.

Of course, I see your point in looking at Ashe as he's looked fairly good, but I don't think it warrants Wellens to be dropped from contention.

Yep, but he isn't Billy Slater and so let's face it, he's just rubbish.



(Love Wello, me, and although his form is a little shakey since returning from injury, he's a great fullback and the very best option we have there just now)
