Gidley is a very good player but senior is a very strong lad Gidey cannot do it all him self. It will take his toll on Gidley if Gardener does not help him.

I imagine wilkin will be inside gidley and he is a tackling machine!

Usually he's on the other side, to cover the left considering Gilmour isn't a natural centre. Flannery will be with Gidley and Gardner.

Lego gets through a tonne of work in defence that usually goes unnoticed by most.
Like to see him play at 13 again today. Be interesting to see if he drops in at 6 now long isn't playing.

I'd imagine Wilkin and Roby will fill in for Long.

Yes I did, it was quite exciting before it was abandoned.
Normally it's just the start that's exciting, but when it rains there's more stops so it was pretty good today.

Lomax wasn't in and the team is usually announced about an hour before kick off.

I do, Wilkin has a kicking game, and if Roby is at 7 then Pryce will be kicking most of the time, while we have Sinfield, McGuire, Burrow and even Webb. I don't like to sound like Paul Cullen, but with the quality of defence for both sides, the kicking game is crucial.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but i'm sure you still change your squad? I'm sure someone will clear it up.

Wilkin can still kick from loose though, Sinfield does.

Loose/second row, as is Wilkin and Flannery.

A few were kicking at Wakey: Flannery, Wilkin, Pryce, Lomax. I think even Gidley took a shot in-field. My guess is that since Long is not playing, Potter has gotten a few of them practising their kicking. Who will be kicking goals today, though, is anyone's guess.
