I'm sorry, but this is just like Millward and his "give players a criminal record for assault" idea.
Yes, the RFL have "bottled" it, but in Saints' favour. Wilkin and Cunningham are still allowed to spoil our beautiful game.

It was 'undue pressure on the joint'. It wasn't technically a chicken wing as illustrated in the NRL and over here recently. What it was, in fact, was a yellow and cheap attempt at injuring a player Leeds fear.
The RFL's clarification publication that the Leeds fans are creaming themselves over just states this. All they have done is state that it wasn't a chicken wing but that he used undue pressure in trying to turn the man over.
Still worthy of a ban. |

Totally agree with you on this Gaz, regardless of the two teams, or the players involved, the RFL continually make themselves look stupid in situations like this.
What makes it all the funnier is how many stages this went through before it was finally decided that it wasn't a 'chicken-wing'. |
