err yes. Your team cheated to bring in players to get you out of a relegation scrap knowing the worst case would be a fine and maybe a points deduction a year later when it probably wouldnt matter. It was a premeditated blatant cheat and if we had a decent governing body in charge of the game you would have been playing a year in the second division ... again

Wigan have always been very professional in covering there tracks and finding loop holes in the rules. I seem to remember they use to de register players to get other players in.

There was also an alleged incident when Fielden signed that he wasn,t allowed to play on his first weekend because of the salary cap and 1 or 2 squad players had to be loaned out to cover this. The loaned out players papers should have been lodged with the RFL to clear this scenario.
The paperwork arrived too late but Fielden still PLAYED, so in reality they were allowed a short term breach of the salary cap.

Also remember one of Saints breaches of the Salary Cap was due to Roby selected into the international side, his selection kicked off a £5000!! players contract payment. The RFL wouldn't accept it and the club was fined roughly the same amount. I,d be pretty confident if it were Wigan they would have got a dispensation.

The Envy-O-Meter has nothing to do with the salary cap.

You Saints fans are a very hardy bunch , have faih , Charlie Knows things are going to get better , this will be achieved with effort and less time out here or in the time it takes to even up , we must all be friends in the family , the Wigan Machine is turning be wary of the man in Cherry and White .

Why be full of animosity for each other , i like both teams , maybe we go through patches we regret but thats life Charlie is happy at the moment , my pain is easing , and im ready to see it all go through , good luck next week , i can see you have 3 difficult games approaching , but life is strong .
