There should be a filter on this forum stopping people from posting when they're drunk.

| Quote: Mugwump "I think both Walmsley & Peacock are great players. But the only true metric for judging a prop's absolute worth is the NRL.
I'm sure both would prosper in that competition. But only one of the three has actually done it. This isn't something you can just sweep under the carpet.'"
So by that logic, where does that leave James Roby? Josh Hodgson must be a better hooker than Roby then.

Plus andy Currier was better than Paul Newlove.

I think you are getting more confused, Man of Steel is an annual event judged on the current season and not based on your observation of recent games.

This made me chuckle. Thanks for brightening up my afternoon.

I would have thought it was self-explanatory. The NRL is the best competition in the world. If it isn't - why haven't we beaten the Aussies in decades?
It's like saying so-and-so is the "best player in the world" whilst plying his trade in the Dutch Football league.
To be the best you've got to beat the best. I'm not saying the likes of Walmsley or Peacock aren't capable. I am saying - they haven't.

| Have I really just seen someone describe Walmsley as just a big guy?

| I think Walmsley is an excellent prop and would love him in the rhinos side. One question to you guys who watch him week in and week out, his tackling stats seem quite low is there any particular reason for this?
