Congratulations from another Leeds fan. Kinda know a bit of how those past losses must've hurt with our own record in the CC and how good and how much of a relief basically it is to get the prize you've been after for so long. Great that both teams have ended their unwanted streaks in the same year. Like I mentioned on the VT, Wellens reaction and pure emotion at the final whistle was a real highlight for me.

Well done, i was never confident that We [Wigan] would walk it [as was being said elsewhere], but you deserved to win, i thought we gave everything but were always on the back foot after Flowers disgraceful assault on Lance Hoaia.. Enjoy it because we will be back next year

As another Leeds fan I'd echo this. Great to see the likes of non thug like professionals as Wellens and Roby winning. I thought Makinson was your MOM: made some great defensive Hardaker like tackles at FB and of course scored the critical try brilliantly.

It is quite amazing to again be disrupted in your halves and still go onto win both LLS and the GF.

Flower should be banned for a very long record time.

Congratulations Saints! Must be a great feeling to finally win it again. I agree with the people above - Roby, Makinson and Soliola were amazing. I thought I'd also mention Luke Thompson as well. I've not seen a great deal of him but I thought he fronted up very well tonight for a 19 year old.

Yes, I had predicted a few days ago Luke Thompson could possibly get MOM, he put in a great shift. Will be a better player next year in my opinion after this historical win.

I know the players always say that is for the fans, but for me that is all for the players.

We all doubted them. No one not even us gave them a sniff. So pleased for Wellens and young richards and thompson. The old head to get one last big win. Those two forwards for me where great, ran in hard when others were making errors.
