| I would pick Warrington 100%. I would even send out a press release tonight saying that we pick them.
The thing with these club calls is you can never win out of the situation. No one believes that we are confident enough to pick the wolfs, so if we did pick them then it immediately gives us the mental edge and shows real confidence and belief in the team. In this situation you have to be bold.
I also don't think they were particularly impressive tonight. Cas were awful (so bad) yet it was very tight until the GOB try. I don't know whether that is because they knew they could coast or whether they just didn't play well. I feel it is the latter as they haven't played well at all in the last couple of weeks, so I don't think they are as intimidating as people are making out on here.
I also think that we would struggle against Huddersfield. I think if they have Danny Brough back they will beat us and the fact that they should pick up a big win tomorrow might give them the confidence that Wigan smashed out of them last week.
BRING ON THE WOLFS I SAY!

| I thought Wire were so so.
Too an interest in Clarke and Snyde tonight. Don't know if we were ever considering Snyde, but if we were we dodged the bullet. Maybe good on his day, but tonight he was woeful and it was not like he was behind a hammered pack.
Defense shocking, penalties, kicks astray, just not very good at all.
Clarke does have a nice eye for a gap, but his passing from the ruck was a bit hit and miss. Above heads, to feet. Not sure if it was the pressure or what, but seemed to pick up once the cas 9 came on the field.
As for who to pick, I don't buy the mentality thing. Just pick the best bet. To me that would be Catalan at this moment in time, after tomorrow it maybe Wire or Huddersfield, have to see how huddersfield shape up.
The only time I would not have picked the weakest team was the last season at KR, when I would have prefered Wigan in the semi, to take them out before the final as they were always going to do better on a bigger pitch.

I think it gives the wolves the mental edge if we pick them. Nobody wants to go to Wigan so all be hoping we pick them.

Reality, has shown we have beaten all the top sides if not once but twice or thrice this season with a weakened side, the survivng players deserve something from that.

Do you ever get bored?
I can picture it now if we somehow do manage to win the Grand Final:
Saddened! "We may be Champions, but we don't deserve it despite beating everyone and we certainly don't deserve a shot at the WCC where we will horribly embarrass ourselves."

| We'd be mental to pick Warrington. I don't mean any disrespect to Huddersfield and Catalans, but if we pick Wire we have to beat both of the most dangerous sides in the competition to win the title. If we don't pick them we only have to beat one.

Exactly. Whether you think we've a better chance against Wire or Wigan, they are a much stiffer test than Cats or Hudds.
I'd be more confident about getting one over on Wire in the Final than I would Wigan, I'd also be (slightly) less gutted to see them lift the title.

| For me Club Call should be the winners of tonights game.
We proved against Castleford that we have other options in the kicking game department with Roby and Turner sharing the kicking game. It certainly took Castleford of their stride. Kick chase will need to be right up there again too.
The pack needs to replicate it's dominant form against Castleford and put the squeeze on their main attacking threats of Brough (if he's fit), Robinson and Grix (should Huddersfield Win).
Send Warrington to Wigan and let them smash ten shades of poop out of each other. If Wigan/Warrington had club call then they'd do exactly the same

| You have to pick hudds/cats, surely?
Ignoring the ranking, warrington are the strongest team left from the options and recently pumped saints. They nearly beat wigan at wigan as well the week after and saints have a better chance of beating warrington at OT than wigan. Hudds were terrible last week and cats away record this seasn is poor. Picking Hudds/cats gives saints the best probability of not only making old trafford.....but dare I say it...WINNING as there's always the chance wire do wigan.

It just seems more logical. Don't get me wrong nothing would please me more than taking out both Wire and Wigan in the playoffs, but we just haven't got the personnel available to pull it off.

| If we are lucky, they may end up having a proper fight which would suit the other semi finalists with us down to the ground.
At the moment I'd be pretty confident against any of the teams next week. I know our halves are gone, but I'm yet to see a convincing display from anyone but Wigan.
Having said all that we have not played like we did last Friday for ages, so was it a turning of the corner or a one off.

| You will pick tonight's winner surely?
Hudds were awful, if not worse, at Wigan last week and Anderson will demand a response. When Catalans have to travel on two consecutive weeks they usually lose on their second trip. Hudds to win tonight for me.
Although I think you'll pick tonight's winner somehow I feel you should pick Wire. They are busted, tired and bruised. I'm in the camp that they weren't very good last night and had more than a helping hand from Bentham. I think you can beat them at LP.
Hudds though are almost fully fit. With Danny boy in their squad who knows what they can do. Their forwards were 7-10kgs a man heavier than the Wigan pack yet got smashed. That isn't going to happen again I wouldn't think.
I can't see anyone beating Wigan at the DW so the best chance is at OT. Getting there will be easier perhaps against a beaten up and injured Wire than a fully fit Hudds who will have something to prove.
