If we being honest what we tonight would be our biggest asset (the pack) isn't all that tbh.
The Back row is lightweight with Wilkin and Flanaghan, Manu looks very slow and unfit this year. The props are mostly impact props apart from Amor.
Roby looks a shadow of the player he is which I think mainly due to have to be doing to much work as walmsley, Mose get tired after 10 mins, LMS not pulling his weight and Amor not playing.
The pack IMO looks lightweight and soft. We might have big props but they ain't running their weight.

Agree with this, we're a different side with Amor on the pitch, we need him back for Leeds

I saw him walking his dog in Billinge yesterday as I was on my way to the Wigan v Bradford game (around 12:40) he still doesn't look anywhere near 100% fit and will be a big miss for you if he doesn't play.

If the club announced Wilkin, Flash, LMS and Manu were all leaving at the end of the year I wouldnt be at all disappointed, I doubt many would. Replacing the back rowers with a trent waterhouse type and getting a proper rough house nasty prop

| Trent Waterhouse? Is that a joke? The guy is lazier than any of our back rowers and that comes from a mate of mine who goes watching Warrington every week.

Well I dont watch him every week but when I have seen him he's big and runs hard out wide and punches holes in defences ( funnily he runs good lines but unlike out 'line runners' he makes it through the defence), Exactly what Wilkin and Flash dont do. Wilkin has just developed into a jack of all trades, doesnt have the pace or skill to be a first choice halfback and doesnt have the size to be a forward. We all wanted him to be our answer when Scully packed in but sadly it hasnt worked out that way.

Is dog walking style a good indication of match fitness? It's not one I've heard from any coaches, e.g. "I'm not sure he's fully match fit yet, so send him out with Fido and see how he manages that, then we'll know for sure."

| I was wondering about the fitness statement.
If he looked injured you could put it down to a hobble or something.
Fitness would seem unlikely as he was only playing 2 weeks ago. Unlikely to lose fitness over 2 weeks.

Laffranchi leaving frees up the money for "a proper rough house nasty prop" - favourite of which is available being huby.
What happens with our back rowers next year depends entirely on what's happening with soliola. Wilkin soliola and lms makes a decent starting back row (dependant on form) we'd need a line breaker to replace Manu (who are in short supply looking at the ooc lists chris McQueen anyone?) BUT there are going to be ever increasing pressure from below with greenwood, Savelio (and if rumours are believed, Jordan Cox)
None of this requires any of the aforementioned to leave, and just adds competition to places - you can also add clough to the list (though I think he's unlikely to return) - the only one who I would be unsure about is Flanaghan, not good enough to be first choice, and too expensive a choice for backup - especially considering it haven't mentioned the likes of walker, hand and the host of others who now have first team experience.
A proper 6 and replacement 9 (if Fozard didn't look up to it? Haven't seen anything about him good or bad) is top priority.

| Does anyone have a clue when Richard Beaumont will be fit again? And is he a starting prop or an impact prop?

I don't rate our back rows this year. They offered nothing with the ball at all. Wilkin is to slow and small, same with Flash, Manu is a until but been very sluggish and looked unfit and sia isn't being used correctly.
We don't really have a back row that can punch a hole in the defence.

We've put no time scale on it, he's fit when he fit.
Not seen much if him but I'd guess he will be another impact prop that needs a rest after 10 mins.

| He's apparently quite close. Was interviewed in hospitality lounge after Wigan game. More in the Amor mould & what we need. Runs hard & straight & is a very big bloke. Will do the hard yards off our own line. He impressed me at Hull KR back end of the season, Wigan away springs to mind.

| Huby & Burns for Laffranchi & Hohaia would do us just fine. Gettable too. Albeit Powell at Cas has them looking a real force again, maybe Huby would remain loyal?
