I imagine Richards won't start, but I'd like to see it. Wakefield have named a strong starting pack imo (Ali usually starts on the bench iirc) so I'd be tempted to withhold as many of our big experienced guys as possible, and try and hit them when a few of they're weaker bench players make it on. Mose needs to step up and make some big yards tomorrow imo
Keep their halves busy and then we can catch them out wide.

Both will be involved and it will be a tough day out and I fully expect Flash to outperform Wello.
Now that Wello's got his 500 appearances, will a good showing by Fanaghan make Brown wake up, smell the coffee and move Flash ahead of the old timer in the pecking order?'"
Flash needs a big game, but maybe that's the point. He's not really had a look in yet, so what better time to lay a marker down for his place - it's good to have competition!

Ali always starts at left 2nd row.

Any reason why you don't play Wellens at FB, with Lomax in the halves now Walsh is injured?
Just curious

| I think it's to not disrupt the team overly for one player. One player out one in. Also Wilkin shows he can guide a team from 7. Lomax seemed to struggle at that part of the game. His free-er role at FB allows him to exploit his running game, without having to manage the team. Also Lomax's long kicking game is not up to Wilkin's.

| Heard that one or two of your players are carrying knocks but are still going out to play this weekend.
Mean while Leeds are doing it smart and resting a few to keep them fresh.
You probably will get the 2 pts from Wakefield but you will have to fight hard to get them and probably
pick up more injuries in the process.
Those 2pts from Wakey will cost you because next week and Leeds will do you.

| Leeds is going to be difficult with a full team anyway. Our best chance of 2 points is this week. 2 points against Wakey will be as valuable as 2 points against Leeds come the end of the season.
I reckon Sia will be the one with the knock as we've all said he is 50/50
Not sure about anyone else with a knock.
Leeds are playing London and with all due respect London are no where near Wakey in terms of ability.
We sent an academy team to knock off London 2 seasons ago. Which they did with ease. We also have players to come back for the Leeds game, I'm sure we could have rushed them too, but at this stage it's just steady away.

I've heard injured, which makes sense. Can't see him getting dropped this far. He did not mess up that badly.
Probably not on the list of injured so he does not get the sicknote bashing that he has suffered so far.

| Interestingly, Leeds will be the 4th team (after Wakefield, Salford, and Hull) we've played directly after playing London or catalans (or both in two weeks) out of 6 games, rfl trying to gee teams up before playing us??

Simply because Wellens doesn't have the required attributes to play at 1 anymore.

| Wheeler is becoming a bit of an enigma, he did have a poor game against KR but previously he showed signs of his ability when previously playing at s/o , where I thought he had a decent game. He got a knock in that game and was out for the following week when Lance took the s/o spot and had one of his better games. Lance kept the s/o spot for the KR game and I am wondering if Wheeler spit out his dummy at being selected at after Brown had stated that he was the best s/o at the club. It is all very confusing.
I did have high hopes for Wheeler and really felt for the lad with all his injuries, but I am beginning to lose faith in him. He is a player with bags of talent but I think other issues are holding back his career.
