3 of our props next year will be over 6'3 tall. Masoe, Walmsley and Beaumont, obvious to see that Brown wants a big looking pack and might be why Clough is out of favour (too small).

So that's Masoe and Walmsley then. If we do sign this Beaumont guy, we can't rely on him one bit. Like Wheeler, i wouldn't even list him in the squad on the club website. If he ever plays, it's a bonus.

On the face of it, it looks like a good signing.

As has been said, he needs to work on his fitness so we can try to get two 15-20 min spells out of him and also he is not an full international. Played for junior Kiwis and has been in Kiwi and Samoan squads but not broke through to either first 17 yet.
Perhaps we should not expect too much of him and over hype.

Whilst all the evidence points to that being the case, Paul Anderson could hardly get on the pitch before he was 25. Now, let's not get carried away, but you never know for sure.....

A good signing. We really could do with a bit of luck though. Shenton, Perry, Sia all suffered pretty nasty injuries in their first year with us or before they got here. If he stays fit he should go well.

I can see Warlmsley being a starting prop. If Walker can keep up his start in the first grade he will tackle all game long, leaving the eye catching stuff for the likes of Walmsley and Mosoe. I know we would all like a front row like we had in 2006. But I don't think any team can hold 5 excellent props in one team. You need some stars and some work men. If Walker gets fit and tackles like he does, he's going to leave a lot of juice in the tank for the others to run at defenses.

It'll be the latter - Polynesian languages always pronounce every syllable seperately fact fans e.g. Hawaii is 4 syllables: Ha-Wa-Ee-Ee. His second name will be pronounced "Ma-So-Eh" as well most likely.

Walker and this bloke are the sort of signings I was expecting when we moved into Langtree Park, when we were promised marquee signings. Instead we got signings that wouldn't be out of place in a big top. Having said that, apart from Lance, our overseas signings have been generally ok, Perry was a good signing on paper, and everyone was excited about us getting him, shame he has turned out to be as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Onwards and upwards, these should at least help us to push for the top 4 again, particularly if we can also keep the biscuit kids on the park.

I think its a good signing. He will add some power, aggression and size to what is at the moment a very very weak front row.

He and Walsh IMO are top class signings IF we add to them. We can't just bring these two into this current team as we need more quality along side them.

I've not seen much of him so can't really comment but judging by what others have said and LeagueFreak who supports the team he plays for, he seems like he could be quite a handful in short bursts.

It's always a risk signing overseas players but the two we have brought over this time are 24 - 25 rather than 30+ and are on shorter contracts. Masoe is on the verges of international call up so that could be good news in terms of his eagerness to do well for us.

We shall see, I'll reserve judgement but we're building a younger side.
