Meli is a top player and we will miss him. There isn't another winger in Super League bar Ryan Hall capable of the performance The Pope put in on Friday night.

If it wasn't for the 2 Grand Finals he cost us, he'd probably be a club legend on par with Apollo/Freddie/George Mann/Tea Ropati/Sean Hoppe by now.

He's not half as bad as kicks as Sully was.

He's made mistakes, but who hasn't. He's a beast and I say we should give him another year. We'll not get anyone who can contribute as much as him - the best we could hope for is some dullard who's nice and safe or someone like Omari Cairo, who is like Meli, but not anywhere near as good.

I can count on one hand how many mistakes he has made in a final some people exaggerate them IMO. Meli is a quality player and will be hard to replace. I would be happy to see him leave if we can bring someone like Broughton in but in super league your going to have a hard time finding someone better than Meli who will come to us.

Meli is our best winger by a country mile IMO, and is quite possibly the best finisher in Super League. He makes plenty of meters with ball in hand, and finishes anything that comes his way.

We all know that he is prone to the odd mistake, and gets slated when he does, but he is a quality wing man. We will miss him when he leaves - I will tell you that much.
