Neither Ashurst or Dixon ever produced anything, they were solid backrowers but that's about it. Personally, I thought Dixon was worth keeping hold of, but since he's gone, it looks like Greenwood will have to step up this year. I just hope he can bring a bit more and stand out from the typical back rower we tend to produce. |

Out of the young lads who came on I thought the lad on the wing Percivel (sp) did very well and was worthy of a mention.
With Puletua,Perry,Wheeler,Clough all missing the squad looks ok

Percival had pace. I kid you not, a Saints winger with pace.
Very hard to judge against a really poor Huddersfield side but all contributed and looks a little promising.

Percival is a very good young centre. I expect he played on the wing on Friday just to give him a bit of experience. He's also a decent goal kicker.

Cant see Perry getting much game time this season. Up to now he's been a total wast. Knowing Brown's Reputation he will select the team on form and not reputation. |

I disagree, but only with the word total. He's had some games where he's been outstanding and shown he has a lot of strengths. Unfortunatley, just as he had started to win his detractors around, he hit some awful form for the playoffs.
A real dissapointment. |

good training, we lost games when long went out and we had no one, so scully was just given the tee.
since then we have had so many kids coming up who have a good kick on them. again good training
