Of course they did. What is being dropped to the 20s when you have played in grand finals but them getting shut of him?

Rush not playing Foster does not translate into the club wanting shut. Foster approached the club and requested a release.

Of course he did! Because he was told he was down the pecking order! Duh. Playing at Rochdale -v- first team games with Bradford. No brainer.
There is more than one way to skin a cat, so the phrase goes.

Look. If you're going to insult me at least try and sound like an adult when you do so. That kind of comment is straight off the playground and so just makes me

It was Jamie's choice to leave and IMO was best for him.

The fact that you have the second clause means I'm spot on in my assessment.
Obviously Jamie made the decision to leave. He said so himself. But that it was best for him is the clue: he has been pushed out.
Like I say, there is more than one way to skin a cat.

How can they force him out when he asked to go ?
Obviously Brown told him he's behind makinson, Meli, Ade, swift for a wing spot which IMO is correct.
Jamie didnt sulk and has been open that he wanted to play first team for saints but he wasn't prepared to play for Rochdale so asked to leave.
The is another young player at saints that had the same meeting with Brown and he's staying.

Surely not? Gaskell must be the sith lord in the clubs eyes because Rush, as the coach, decided not to play him. Surely Eamonn McManus was all along plotting to isolate and alienate him and force him into asking for or release. Or it has nothing to do with Eamonn and it was just that Rush didn't pick him, one or the other.

We didn't have this fuss about Tom Armstorng when he left, despite him probably being a better player (bar the boot) than Foster, nor Ian Hardman before him.

| I'm gutted he left as he was one of my favourite players. Really hope to see him do well at Bradford, good luck lad.

| Foster and Dixon are both fringe players at Saints. Neither has fulfilled some early promise, neither is good enough to make the starting 17 when everybody is fit and we have 3 or 4 better options than either in their respective positions. No club in the top half of the table wanted either of them so how could they be a loss to Saints exactly? 100% correct decision in letting both of them go and get on with their careers. Deal with it.

Can't please everyone, only a week ago people were moaning about the lack of news coming out of Saints, now we have news others want us to stop talking about it, less than a week after it's happened. It's not like there is a game to watch, so these things are going to be debated, it's the off-season what else are we going to talk about other than comings and goings and cladding.

Sorry if a few simple facts get in the way of a manufactured debate that exists only to give us something to talk about until some real news happens
