I think to say this is to impugn the character and morality of Brown. I think only a person with a shady character themselves could think such an act acceptable. I’m not, by the way trying to say that you are in anyway of a shady character, no, I hope you remarks were meant purely in the respect of possible thoughts by others who are.

I'm afraid politics is just part of life, employee's and companies do this kind of thing every day when it suits them to do it. Why would Brown walk away and lose money? there is no guarantee he would be able to get paid work between now and his contract start with Saints so he's just looking after himself.

If he did do what Pete suggested then all he was doing was protecting himself from what could well have been a group of players out to get him pushed. I'd say that was wise.

I can only think of one real shady character in the super league and he plays for you pie chompers.

I'll give you a clue, he is a druggy, he sticks his fingers in players eyes, he pushes referees, he throws high shots like they going out of fashion and also caused a mass brawl at the magic weekend by head butting another player.
