| Parking at LP is great. My only advice would be to get to the old Tesco car park early doors, like half 6, otherwise it will be full. Failing that park on the multi-stories but again getting there earlier is a benefit as you don't want to be waiting the half hour it takes for them to empty.
Having said that I don't park in either place, I park somewhere else and it's proving so good I'm not posting it on here in case you try to steal my spec.
One thing in general about game day is that they desperately need to install a crossing on the dual carriageway outside Tesco before someone dies. At the moment there is an utterly ridiculous game of cat and mouse going on with people trying to cross there. The idiots in the cars don't seem to want to slow down at all, as driving is a race right? The people walking are then left to play Frogger with their children as they try to get across the road. After the Wigan game there was very nearly a big incident as a fool in a Land Rover just flawed it, refusing to allow those attempting to get across a chance.

| There is a crossing , its opposite the Renault agents, to the left as you ,leave tesco`s , we did comment on the crossings a lot as we were watching the build there being two crossings, the "suicide crossing" and the traffic light crossing , to be honest its no further to walk to use the lights than it is to use the other one , but I do agree you will get s who have no consideration for people leaving the ground, but also you need a bit of common sense as regards which crossing to use

Its a bugger to get off only one exit and you pay on the way out not on the way in.

Ah okay, are the multi-storeys a better option?

Funny that as I paid on the way in last week and got off pretty quickly afterwards, mainly because I parked close to the entrance.

| So where is the best place for the away fans to park then?
Couple of different suggestions on here, none of which mean anything to me.
An idea of best place and time to walk to Stadium from there would be really useful.
Many thanks, and see you tonight!!

Chalon Way car park. Take the turning off the M62 to St Helens (sorry, can't remember which junction!). You are then on the Linkway (dual carriageway). The stadium is signposted. You will realise you are heading into town and will see the Park Hotel on your right. You need to turn right at the next traffic lights just after the Park Hotel. You will then need to go right at the mini roundabout and you will see the Chalon Way and old Tesco car parks as you go round the mini roundabout. The Chalon Way is a multistorey. That is the best place to aim for as a car driver.
It is a five or so minute walk to the ground from that car park, the route is signposted.
There is also the Glass House pub opposite that car park if you want a drink (although there is a public bar at the stadium too).
