| So what we never play Foster again because he made a mistake? Yet Francis Meli is allowed his mistake that almost cost us the game against Widnes?

If you remeber when foster came through, he was a very safe pair of hands. Remember when Stevo gave him MoM against wigan for taking that pressure catch at the end? He showed many moments like this last year.
No mistakes and a deadly goal kicker were his two selling points, though. He's lost one of them and needs to get it back (which I'm sure he can).

| Foster is also an excellent finisher. Gardner and Meli probably offer more overall threat, but he's better than Swift and better in terms of contribution to Makinson, who to be honest doesn't do enough to warrant a place on the wing and is crying out for some game time at fullback.

Also, his grandad died the day before the game so I thought he was outstanding.'"
Bob on he had an excellent game.

How can you say that after the lad has only played one game?

If he hasn't got his hands back to deal with the kicks, any adventure back in the first team is going to be a torrid time and likely to knock any confidence he's got right out of him.

| We should never see foster in a saints shirt ever again, he has no pace, can't tackle, can't catch a high ball and was only in the team for his goal kicking, and he wasn't doing that!!!
I've been saying for 2 years that he'll get found out, and thank god he has now!!! useless.
If Gardener is still injured, then put Mackinson back onto the wing, he offers more than foster, swift did ok for his debut, good name aswell
Leave Lance at SO, we have been improving since he has been selected there so why change it, afterall he was signed as a 6.
I would be tempted to leave Shenton out if wheeler is fit. Give him the wake up call that he needs. Don't get me wrong I like Shenton, but he just doesnt seem right, if it's a confidence thing with his elbow I don't know, but a wake up call is needed.
I don't know what's happened to Gardener, but he's been one of our best players this season, can't recall him making a mistake and his kick returns are excellant. Meli onthe other wing has that fear factor for me, not many big wingers knocking about these days, plus he can put a shift in taking the ball up.

Name like saintswift and bagging Jamie Foster? You wouldn't be the boy Swift himself? Or his Mum, Dad, Sister, Brother, Uncle, Auntie, Grand Father, Grand Mother, girlfriend, boyfriend, wife or husband would you?

The difference is, Francis Meli doesnt have a "prima donna" attitude, think he is better than he actually is or spend more time focussing on twitter comments than rugby league...As it stands at the moment, Meli, Gardner and Makinson are all ahead of Foster in the pecking order and it is up to him to prove his worth and earn his place back in the team, but if 2 of the above 3 are fit I wouldnt even think about playing him at this moment in time

i've never seen any evidence of this "attitude" from Foster, in fact he always comes across very humble in interviews. yes he has a 12 yr olds hair cut, but that doesnt make him arrogant

So you see him at the club, at training and such forth, to hold such views?

No? He was in a big sulk about having to play at centre.

47035_1386433761.gif We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_47035.gif |

| I don't see Foster as arrogant at all. He may have been a typical 20year old lad with a modicum of fam and a splash of cash.
But never did I see him declaring himself to be the big I am.
Quite frankly if I had his job and his looks and I was 20 again, I'd have no problem using that to get the girls. You only live once. As for his Rugby, it dropped off for what ever reason and I just hope that he is not back in the side as he needs a little more time rather than any personal issues, with others in the team or the club.
I'd be pretty disappointed if Rush and KC, would be as low as to be petty about someone being a good looking kid.

| I just think that if I was letting my team down the way he has, I would concentrate on putting more effort on the training ground than on twitter pages...
Maybe I am mistaken but I just get the impression after a good season in 2011 he has got a bit too far ahead of himself and needs to be brought down a peg or two...and the fact that Rush & KC choose to give a debut to an academy half back on the wing in front of him suggests to me there is more than just poor performances as to why he isnt playing
