You knew who she meant - Laffranchi and Hohaia, you're just being pedantic because one won the final and the other just played in the final.
Not sure which thread it was in, but if you're trying to convince anyone that your signings are better than ours, then you're a loon! Luauki, Dudson, Flower and some bloke I've never heard of against Hohaia, Laffranchi and Flanagan on paper is a no contest.

| Please can we keep things on topic. Keep this topic for stadium pictures and comments.
I must say the damage to the roof causes a lot of concern. Its only a matter of days before the first public event if indeed that is allowed to take place. Not impressed at all.

No I'm being realistic.
Laffranchi is NOT a World Cup winner, which she claimed.
I've never mentioned the Wigan signings.
Saints have lost four International players and replaced them with a second row who is expected to play prop, Howler who has been given the 6 jersey and has been played at 1 or 9 for the last two years and a Wigan reject who has hardly figured this season at Wests.
But what this has to do with the house of straw I don't know.

| The hole in the roof has been repaired in a fashion, it wont be a perminant fix, they will need to come back and do a proper job.
The work behind KC statue looks to me like its a screen, could be wrong but it looks like a giant lap top screen.
The link road to fingerpost is closed, they have a big crane on site, looks like the bridge is finaly being finished.
lets keep on topic, all the great post about the stadium are being made took look stupid by a couple of recent post's.

| Reading "Nosey Parkers" column (yes I know) in League Weekly today he say's a Saints official tell's him it would cost £5000 a time to let St Helens Town play at LP effectivley ruling out a groundshare. At around 20 plus matches per season that's well over 100k down the drain-can't see Saints being happy coughing up that during the off season.Didn't Saints get Sport England funding due to letting them play at our ground though?

Yes, they did. But they let Town play at KR for free for a decade so perhaps not charging them was a condition of the Sport England money. However, the Sport England money may not be enough to cover the cost of opening the stadium to a competitive match, hence the alleged decision by Saints to refuse Town.
I'm very happy with Town not playing at Langtree Park. It's time the rugby club made a clean break. Town can find somewhere else to play. I'm sure there are plenty of available options for such a small entity.

| If Town can get enough people to cover the cost then let them play at the new stadium otherwise, there are loads of Parks around town big enough to cope with their support base at the moment.

| St Helens Town are at a level where they should be playing at an 18000 capacity stadium. 180 would be fine.
Perhaps Saints could arrange for a local pitch to be rented for them instead and put a basic club house/ticket office and stand in. I'm thinking a fence around a pitch with a carpark, plus a couple of portakabins here, nothing too elaborate.

Something about the size of LSH ground would do them.

Would you have the same opinion if any grants like Sports Council have to be repaid immediately, there most be ways of running the stadium less than £5,000 per game and the idea behind a lot of stadiums were the community gets involved is for it to be used as much as possible.

The stadium is already being involved in the community. The second St Helens 10K charity run is starting and ending at the stadium. I can't imagine Saints charging Ste Prescott for the privilege somehow.
