How far is Savelio off playing first team? I take it he's the guy who has a look of Jarryd Hayne about him? He looks a foot taller than the Saints coaches already.

I watched him playing against Wigan at Ince and he looks a big unit but tired to quickly for me?
Suppose fittness can always get better? Yes he is massive for his age?

He could have won that game for Saints (undeservedly ) but for a great chase and tackle from the Wigan winger Joe Burgess.

It's always difficult at that age because some of those players are so much bigger than their opponents, but in a few years don't grow much more and then find the game a bit more difficult.

Ben Kavanagh was a prime example.

Savelio is certainly a big athletic lad, and it'll be interesting to watch his progress.

You think Savelio looks big? You look at Luke Thompson and Greg Richards who are both the same age. Absolute animals.

Richards, Thompson and Savellio are only 16 and nowhere near ready for SL, all three have been very impressive so far on tour though/

Saints on Twitter have just reported that the Academy have beaten the Sharks 30-22, which is a fantastic result for them. That's a 75% success rate so far. Amazing. And they played in 30 degree heat.

The good thing is they still haven't played their best yet, today was once again very scrappy and they only converted two tries.

At one stage the Sharks got back to 22 -22 despite scoring two less tries so they will need to improve all round to beat Penrith in the last game.
Hesketh and Clare were good up front while Adam Swift continues to impress. Savellio was awarded man of the match.
