Who is Tompkins?

How completely Bitter! some of you need to grow up, Graham has had his bad times just like Tomkins, mistakes I hope they regret as it does them no good and the game, but to bring it down to simply rivalry is a joke!

James Graham has never given the two fingered salute to anyone on a rugby pitch and with the amount of head high tackles he receives, he certainly has cause to! But he would never do it to the fans. That action of Tomkins makes the game as a whole look poor, especially bearing in mind the BBC transmit it worldwide. Apparently it was discussed on the red button show too. That isn't the kind of publicity we want or need.

Tomkins complained about the lack of coverage Rugby League gets and then in the SHOWPIECE final does something like that and you don't think it's a big deal?

There is also a similar thread on the VT started by a Bulls fan, so if you think this one is because of rivalry what is that one for, jealousy, or someone who cares about the game pointing out a disgraceful act by one of the leading players in our game and one who should be used to promote the game going forward?!

Come on jaybs you cannot excuse what he did.

No denying the kids a talent but what he did was bang out of order,needs to be brought down a peg or two I think.

About the first time I can ever agree with anything you've said.

Tomkins had a decent game, I don't think anybody can reach the standards he has set every week. Still the best FB on the field. He was quiet for his high standards but still had a good game.

Somebody is upset about Wigan being back on top

A player of the standard you and some in the media thinks he is will never have a 'quiet game' at a final; that will be the exact game when he will be dominant. Sam was 'quiet' against the Exiles too. He's 'quiet' against any team who actually bring a defence with them because although he is undoubtedly a good player, he is not the level of good that the recent hype has stated he is.

That he was the best fb on the field is something I do agree with. But that really isn't a compliment as Webb was pants.

I am sure half you never read some post completely, did I condone what he did, NO! I said he was in the wrong, yes it was discussed on TV which shows Our Game in a bad light but the reaction here and on one of the Super League facebook sites is totally over the top, a warning had to be given on facebook not for the first time about the language and sick comments a site that young followers of the game read, so I point the Finger of Guilt at much at Sam and posters who go OTT and have Rants. It is creeping into our game sadly more and more.

So he makes a rude gesture to the crowd and therfore proves that he has a childish mentality to go along with his undoubted football ability.
He also winds you posters up to the degree that some actually hate him. His Club should deal with it, if they dont then they must have the same mentality as he has.
Get over it.
