| Lomax was quite quiet IMO tonight apart from when he nearly scored, Wellens had a moment or two but was then stable. Foster and Makinson were much the same as Wellens.
Gaskell stood out for me in the backs tonight, after the swinging arm he copped on the Lynch try i dont know how he didnt have a loose jaw.

We would have lost anyway, had it not been for Jamie and his nerves of steel! (Albeit thanks to a bounce off the post)

I am sure that Foster himself would not take the glory for last night. It was a hard nights work by all the team.

Well, IMO Foster should take the 'glory' (although I wouldn't use that word). It was his skill and temperament that snatched one point from zero, no-one else's. I prefer to give the credit where it is due. Some of our players had a dire game (and not one of them was backing up either). We dropped the ball at the most crucial of times, made stupid decisions, played summer rugby in the lashing rain ... we didn't deserve a point IMO but that's not to say I'm not extremely glad we got one. I am indeed extremely glad we got one. And it's thanks to Jamie that we did.

I'd give more credit to Gaskell who put in a clever kick and forced the Bradford players to commit to stopping him. Kyle would have backheeled that kick over, Foster almost missed it.

Going back to the original post I think you're right. We can't blame it on the conditions either as we did exactly the same away to Wigan and threw 2 points away.
Though to be fair these young lads are being asked to act as battle-hardened veterans at the moment. However these are formative experiences and they'll learn from them to become successful in future.

I think Gaskell did very well last night. He hasn't had to play in those conditions at first grade before, at least not with the degree of responsibility he had. He coped well and will learn a lot from the experience.

Ha! Kyle wouldn't have reached the posts.

Oh, don't be silly. If someone had put in a try saving tackle, you would have been happy to give that person the credit for saving the try. Giving Jamie Foster the credit for snatching a draw out of that match is no different.

True, Wire and Wigan played just like the sun was cracking the flags at the weekend. Made it look easy.
Didn't they?
We'll be fine next couple of weeks, at least one win I reckon given we seem to have come through Sunday unscathed.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

To be fair we played reasonably well during the first half and controlled the ball well, and I think that's indicated by the halftime score.
In the secondhalf we ran out of juice big time, and worryingly it wasn't just those players backing up that ran out of gas either.
