Although some people are questioning KC credentials for the conditioning post, I am not too sure that Appollo had any experience before being given the opportunity at Saints. I am sure that his status as a saints legend commands respect from the players & the rest can be learned from a book.

| Any more injuries from the Fev game?
Are we likely to see anyone return this weekend?

Apparently not. At least, not serious. Gardner hurt his arm but Simmons said it wasn't serious. He was replaced by Makinson but I would imagine that was as a precaution. LMS on Twitter has moaned about his ankle and knee but I think he's being a wuss. However, no report of him being properly injured.
Makinson looked good on the wing. He had such pace. It would be great to see him there next season as he seems to be ok defensively too. I'm not remotely anti-Gardner but to see pace on the wing again after so long not having it was just a joy to watch.

| Lomax, Gaskell, Pryce, TP and Eastmond are all due back soon. Pryce is having a scan this week which could give him the all clear to play again.

On top of that Moore is back in full training, Flannery and Perry are not serious knocks (maybe Leeds?), Wheeler was due to be out similar to Lomax and Gaskell
That is going to leave Cloughie, hopefully he gets the all clear next time with the specialist, he should be able to do most training so will be fairly swift once cleared.

I just expect some to break down on their comeback and its pretty obvious with our luck with injuries we will lose more.
If/when all are back it should be good to see who misses out.

Not heard any updates on Wheeler. He hasn't tweeted about his progress either.
Hoffman got away with it because he didn't hit the head or standing leg. They're the two areas of the body this season that are out of bounds. I looked that up at the time on the RFL website.

I didn't say it was legal did I? I don't think I did. And I wasn't saying it was legal in this thread either. It was late in my view, which is illegal. He got away with it because it didn't hit the designated spots for this season but also the ref didn't think it was late. Another ref - Ganson, for instance - would have considered it late.
Jeez, Pete. Get a life! I had to dig hard into my memory banks for that one. I've moved on. I've done stuff and slept much since that discussion. I suggest you let it go.
Oh, and for the record, I also think Hoffman deliberately wanted to take Wheeler out. Unlike Raynor, who I think made a careless but not hostile attempt to knock the ball out of Tomkins' hands.

Got to agree with you with regards to hoffman and raynor. However, the wrong one gets punished - rough justice, but thats down to the variable refereeing standards we have.
