There is no better signing than TP for us now, and Laffranchi is off quota, but is non fed trained (these rules are a minefield!)

This is fantastic news. Absolutely chuffed to bits.
See rumours thread for details on where we stand quota/non-fed wise. This will mean no Waterhouse, as we're now maxed out on non-fed players next year. By my reckoning we can only now fit an overseas player in if he has already been in SL since before 2008 and has an exemption from non-fed. Hardly likely, so perhaps Chris Hill, if he comes, might be the last addition to the forward pack.
