I don't think so. I think you'll find that the soccer team will be playing. But I doubt it will be for free this time! I think them using the stadium helps us to obtain Sport England money or something.

Don't think rogues. I was out on the p*ss with one of their volunteer fundraisers tonight and he confirmed first game at the HJ was vs Wakey - no warms ups or friendlies etc - at least not in front of any crowd.

Warrington never had a friendly before the first match against Wakefield. They had an "open" day event when they did the "safty tests".

I know Warrington specifically asked for a team with a small travelling support so that they could get as many home fans in for the first game. It was an all-ticket sell-out.

MM will be first game of 2012 in Cardiff so you lot will face Wigan then. I think Wire would be the best choice to get the stadium full, only problem is you may lose! So i would say play Widnes!!!!
