Not nice to see, I don't think I realized how emotionally attached I was until seeing my spec of over 20 years with a pile of rubble across from it. Roll on next season is all I can say.

Aww so sad to see Knowsley Rd going, we felt the same as you when Central Park went, I have many happy memories of K.R. (and sad ones!!) saw some great players playing on that pitch and i'm going back to the early 60s so you'll all know the players i'm on about.

Even as a Wigan fan I'm gutted to see that. I watched my first ever live RL game at Knowlsey Road.
My Uncle trying to convince me to support Wire over Wigan (half the family from Wire half from Newton) and then Saints romped to a 66-16 Victory. Wish I could remember what year (rather young at the time lol)
