We weren't. I was stunned by how fast we flew out of the blocks. For the best part of the first 15 minutes we had the potential to be at least two tries ahead. But when we got over the line (twice that I remember), as opposed to being held up over the line (another twice), we botched it. We were undercooked. Had we had Leon on board, or had one of our other players been able to produce a nifty kick or something, we might have scored on a number of other occasions too. Roby was just magnificent though and he never stopped probing for an opportunity. I hope other players who can do this will learn from Saturday night and get to it next time out. We need as many players as possible to be looking for opportunities all the time. That should come over the weeks ahead if we have the opportunity to maintain a settled 17.
